Our company attended Mushroom day in Netherlands 2016

The 33st  edition of the Mushroom Days has been a great success. For three days the Brabanthallen were filled with people from all around the world who were participating in the Mushroom Industry.  Over 2.200 visitors of 62 countries visited this dynamic exhibition. 

 

The sales of director of our company also visited mushroom day, he said this fair entirely shows the current develoment and future trends of button mushroom industry in Europe and also face strict challenges in Western europe as the high labor cost and cometitions. Most button mushroom producer wants to transfer their technology and equiptments to other developping countries, such as Asian or South America.

 

The market of exotic mushrooms in Europe is growing slowly year by year, now more consumers want to try specialty mushrooms than button mushrooms as the unique texture.

 

Overall, i think there is potential market for exotic mushrooms in Europe within next 5 years.
